Bub & Bob X doesn't start
- Bub & Bob X is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.2 or older. Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) or newer must be installed.
- Your disk permissions are corrupted or incorrect. Run Disk Utility to verify and repair your disk permissions.
- Your graphics card is not powerful enough to run Bub & Bob X. You must have a 16MB graphics card.
Bub & Bob X performs poorly
- One or several applications run while you play. Shut them down to improve the performance of Bub & Bob X.
- Bub & Bob X performs better when the resolution of the display is set to 640 x 480. (open the Preferences window and switch Scale mode to "Force full screen")
- Your computer is not powerful enough to run Bub & Bob X. Deactivate the music and the sound to gain performance.
The high scores are not saved
- Your disk permissions are corrupted or incorrect. Run Disk Utility to verify and repair your disk permissions.
- The preference file of Bub & Bob X is damaged. Delete it.
(user folder > Library > Preferences > com.mcsebi.bubx.plist)
Bub & Bob X crash or unexpectedly quit
- Another application caused the crash. Do not run other applications while playing Bub & Bob X.
- Bub & Bob X tried to access a corrupted file. Run Disk Utility to verify and repair your disk.
- Mac OS X is not working properly. Restart your computer.
- If Bub & Bob X displays an error message, take a picture of it (⌘ + Shift + 4) and post it on our forum or send it to bubx@mcsebi.com. If you are unable to take a picture of the error message, write it down.
- If there is a log file in "~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/" send it to me.
My score is not on the Online High Scores
- The server of McSebi Software didn't receive your score. Your computer must be connected to the Internet when you submit your score.
- Your copy of Bub & Bob X is not registered.
- You can only submit the highest score of your high scores.
- Your score is not high enough to be on the Online High Scores.
My problem is not listed here
- Post your problem on the forum of McSebi Software.
- Send an email to support@mcsebi.com with the following information:
- your user name, registration key and email address
- your computer model
- a short list of the software installed
- a description of your problem
